Listen to Your Heart

Well, it’s been quite some April.

If you’re in corporate employment, you’re probably counting your blessings and wondering if you’ll ever get used to working a full five-day week again!

If you’re an entrepreneur running your own business, you’re probably looking to write off April as something of a business disaster!

I have to admit that I thought twice about the value of writing a newsletter this week, knowing that people’s minds were most probably on other things...

But then, out of the blue, I received a poem from one of our trainee coaches as “a gift for you and Neil Asher in thanks for a fabulous course.”

I just had to share this with you. It’s short, very sweet – and as such, seems just the perfect message for the purple holiday patch that we are enjoying:

Listen to your heart
For it knows what you should do
Listen to your heart
There is a dream to pursue

With absolute belief
That you are not alone
That the universe will guide you
Your passion will be known

There is a reason you are here
Your job it is, to discover
You have a role to fulfill
Unlike any other

Be mindful of the clues
Of what makes you come alive
They are reminders of the path
For which you should strive

Listen to your heart
For it knows what you should do
Listen to your heart
Your dream is meant to come true
