Can I coach people in groups?

I have a passion to work with groups (schools, corporate, churches etc) especially on the topics of self-image, leaderships skills etc. Will this course equip me to work with groups (I don't have office space at home to see individuals Skype is an option, but not all have Skype and I love to travel, so group sessions is more my style)?

Coaching in groups

Hi Sanet,

Our comprehensive certification training programme will impart all the skills you require (and more) to coach professionally.

Life coaching typically happens on a one-to-one basis because of the very unique and personal nature of each client's requirements. That said, there are many useful principles and techniques you can apply with groups of clients and you can then ask them to submit personalised individual 'homework' separately.

Many of our trained coaches conduct group coaching sessions very successfully.

Bear in mind that our training programme comes with a 15 session life coaching system which is specifically designed for one-on-one coaching (either face-to-face or via telephone/skype) and would need to be adapted for group coaching.

You are not obliged to use our coaching system in your professional practice but you would be required to use it for your practicals as required during the certification process, so for that purpose one-on-one coaching would be necessary.
