Hi Zelna,

Life coaching is not a regulated profession in South Africa and therefore does not fall under the ambit of the HPCSA.

You do not need to register with any specific body to practice as a life coach, however you may, optionally, wish to consider joining a coach representative body for the purposes of your ongoing professional development.

Two that we recommend are the local body, COMENSA, and international body, International Coaches Register (ICR).

Both of these bodies will happily accept applications for membership from coaches who have trained through New Insights.
