At NIA we are, along with our licensor, fully committed to respecting your online privacy and recognising your need for appropriate protection and management of any personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") that you share with us.
In an effort to avoid any misunderstandings with you and other users of our website and to help you understand the care with which we intend to treat your Personal Information, NIA has established this online Privacy Policy.
Personal Information means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, a home or other physical address and an email address or other contact information, whether at work or at home. In general, you can visit the NIA website without having to tell us who you are or revealing any Personal Information about yourself.
We only collect information about you that you volunteer to us when you make a request of us to provide information, marketing brochures, products or subscriptions to one or more of our services. The information that we collect is required to facilitate the effective and timeous delivery of material, products or subscriptions you may request or order and to facilitate further communication with you.
Your information will only be made available, if and when required, to:
1. Our licensor, in terms of our master license agreement for the territory. This will enable New Insights to continue marketing and meet its obligations to customers in the territory, in the event that we fail to do so.
2. Carefully chosen third parties with whom NIA has contracted for the purposes of printing, packaging labeling and delivering its marketing material, products and services – and who have agreed not to use or share this information other than for the purpose that they have been contracted by NIA.
3. A Certified New Insights trained coach, who may contact you to offer you coaching services but who shall be bound by our privacy policy not to use your data in any other way or form.
4. Authorities with whom we are legally obliged to share such information
NIA (and its licensor, MM) strives to comply with all applicable laws that are designed to protect your privacy. Although legal requirements may vary from country to country, we intend to adhere to the principles set forth in this online Privacy Policy. Our goal is to provide protection for your Personal Information no matter where that Personal Information is collected, transferred, or retained.
Some of our web pages utilise ‘cookies’ and other tracking technologies. A ‘cookie’ is a small text file that may be used, for example, to collect information about website activity. Some cookies and other technologies may serve to recall Personal Information previously indicated by a web user. Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how to remove them.
With most browsers you may set them to notify you if you receive a cookie, or you may choose to block them. However, please note that if you choose to erase or block cookies, you will need to re-enter your original user ID and password where required to gain access to certain parts of the website.
Tracking technologies may record user information such as internet domain, host name, internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser software and operating system types, click-stream patterns and dates and times that our site is accessed. Our use of cookies and other tracking technologies allows us to improve our website and your experience while browsing the site. We may also analyze information that does not contain Personal Information to obtain trends and statistics.
We use third-party advertising companies, such as Google, to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
To protect your privacy, we have adopted the following principles:
1. Notice
Where Personal Information is collected on our website, we intend to explain the purpose of collection and whether we plan to share such Personal Information outside of NIA/MM or those working on NIA’s behalf. NIA does not intend to transfer Personal Information without your consent to third parties who are not bound to act on NIA’s behalf unless such transfer is legally required.
2. Choice
You may choose whether or not to provide Personal Information to NIA. If you choose not to provide the Personal Information we request, you can still visit most of the NIA website(s), but you may be unable to access certain options, offers, and services that involve our interaction with you. If you choose to have a relationship with NIA, such as a contractual or other business relationship or partnership, we will naturally continue to contact you in connection with that business relationship.
3. Security
Wherever your Personal Information may be held within NIA or on its behalf, we intend to take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect the Personal Information that you share with us from unauthorized access or disclosure.
4. Access/Accuracy
To the extent that you do provide us with Personal Information, New Insights wishes to maintain accurate Personal Information. Where we collect Personal Information from you on our website, our goal is to provide a means of contacting NIA should you need to update or correct that Information. If for any reason those means are unavailable or inaccessible, you may send updates and corrections about your Personal Information to privacy@life-coach-training-sa.com and we will make reasonable efforts to incorporate the changes in your Personal Information that we hold as soon as practicable.
Third parties provide certain services available on our website on NIA’s behalf. NIA may provide information, including Personal Information, which we collect on our website, to third-party service providers to help us collect payment for and deliver programmes, products, information, and services. Service providers are also an important means by which NIA maintains its website and mailing lists. NIA will take reasonable steps to ensure that these third-party service providers are obligated to protect Personal Information on NIA’s behalf.
NIA does not intend to transfer Personal Information without your consent to third parties who are not bound to act on New Insights behalf unless such transfer is legally required. Similarly, it is against NIA policy to sell Personal Information collected online, without consent.
Our website is not structured to attract children. Accordingly, we do not intend to collect Personal Information from anyone we know to be under 13 years of age although we currently do not take steps to verify the user to that extent.
We are committed to privacy. Protecting your privacy online is an evolving area, and it is our intent that NIA websites will evolve as required to meet these demands.
